「いけばなの魅力を世界中の人々に発信する」
Keiko Ikebana Studioは日本の長い歴史の中で生まれ伝統として受け継がれてきたいけばなを世界中の人々に向けて発信していきます。
野に咲く花。庭に咲く花。自然をいつくしむ心、花を美しいと思う心は世界共通です。花は人々をいやしたり元気にしたりします。時にはワクワクさせることも。気候や建物のつくりによりそれぞれの国でも特徴的なアレンジメントが誕生して発展してきました。
私は京都に生まれ兵庫県の自然豊かな土地で育ち、曽祖父母の代から始めて祖母、母と続けられてきたいけばなを20代から習い始めました。それから24年経った今でも花にふれる時間が大好きでいけばなの奥深さを素晴らしいと感じています。
日本固有のいけばなを世界中の人々に知っていただくため、弊社はいけばなの魅力を発信していきます。またいけばなが必要と思っていただけるのであれば、規模を問わず様々な場所、行事の会場で、また個人のお家で花をいけさせていただきます。またいけばなの魅力に共感してくださる方々、お花が好きな方々に向けていけばな教室を京都市北区のわら天神宮（敷地神社）様にて開催しております。海外の方向けクラスも今後開講予定です。
たくさんの方々に共感していただけると幸いです。

Our Aim: Spreading the attractions of Ikebana to people all over the world.
Ikebana has been established in the long history of Japan and inherited as a tradition. Keiko Ikebana Studio shares the charm of Ikebana with people throughout the world.
Flowers that bloom in the garden and fields. People in the world have in common the hearts that they cherish nature and think flowers beautiful. By watching flowers, we are healed and feel happy. Depends on some differences, for examples, temperature and architectural styles, many kinds of flower arrangements' styles were founded and developed.
I was born in Kyoto and brought up in a village rich in nature in Hyogo prefecture. When my great grandfather worked at Daikakuji Temple, the Headquarter of Sagagoryu, he learned Ikebana. And my great grandmother and my grandmother also had learned Ikebana, moreover my mother, my sister and I have been learned it. I started to learn Ikebana in twenties. Even after 24 years, I still love Ikebana. I am impressed with Ikebana's recondite charms.
We will promote the charm of Ikebana to people around the world in order to make Japanese traditional flower arrangement, Ikebana known worldwide. In addition, if our clients believe they need Ikebana, our company can provide Ikebana works for various locations, event venues, and even clients' homes, regardless of the scale. We also hold an Ikebana school for those who resonate with its charm and for those who love flowers, at Waratenjingu Shrine (Shikichi Jinja) in Kitaku of Kyoto city. In the near future, we plan to open classes for overseas tourists as well.
We would be delighted if many people could connect with and appreciate Ikebana. May the attraction of Ikebana be conveyed to people around the world.

同志社女子大学大学院 文学研究科英語英文学専攻 博士前期課程修了
2001年 いけばな嵯峨御流 入門
2005年 いけばな嵯峨御流 師範取得
2006年 結婚
2019～2022年 京都ブライトンホテル懐石料理「蛍」にていけこみ
2020年3月 国指定重要文化財に登録されている四天王寺舞楽協会の持ち花と冠花の制作依頼を受け製造
同年12月 マルタ共和国大使館にて挿花
2021年3月 社中華展に出展
同年9～2022年3月 城南女子短期大学でいけばなとアレンジメントの授業を担当
同年12月 クリスマスリース制作 ワークショップ開催
2022年6月 社中華展に出展
2023年5月 (株)ヨーロピアンフラワーデザイン連盟認定校「KISフラワーアレンジメント」開校

2023年6月 オンライン華展 Melbourne Ikebana Festivalに出瓶
同年8月 大阪園芸社様との共催で親子いけばなワークショップを開催

Profile
Born in Kyoto, raised in Hyogo Prefecture.
Completed the Master's Program in English Literature at the Graduate School of Doshisha Women's College.

2001: Began studying Ikebana Sagagoryu School.

2005: Achieved the rank of Instructor (Shihan).

2006: Married.

2019-2022: Worked as an Ikebana arranger at the "Hotaru" restaurant (Kaiseki cuisine) at Kyoto Brighton Hotel.

March 2020: Received a commission to create "Mochibana," the holding flowers and "Kanmuribana," the crown flowers for Shitenno-ji Temple Gagaku Association, nationally designated Important Cultural Property.

December 2020: Made an Ikebana work for the Embassy of Malta.

March 2021: Exhibited the work at the Kokokai Ikebana Exhibition.

September 2021-March 2022: Taught Ikebana and flower arrangement at Jonan Women's Junior College.

December 2021: Held a Christmas wreath-making workshop.

June 2022: Exhibited the work at the Kokokai Ikebana Exhibition.

May 2023: Opened "KIS Flower Arrangement," a certified school by European Flower Design Association, offering flower arrangement and preserved flower classes.

June 2023: Participated in the Online Ikebana Exhibition, "Melbourne Ikebana Festival. "

August 2023: Opened an Ikebana workshop for parents and children at Osaka Engeisha.

February 14, 2024: Opened the personal business, "Keiko Ikebana Studio."

November 2024: Exhibited the work at the Kokokai Ikebana Exhibition at the Climbing kiln at Gojozaka, Kyoto.
